As a person having suffered from both headaches and migraines for 8 years, hopefully I can help.
- Try putting an ice pack either directly where it hurts, or on you occipital lobe (behind the ear about 2 inches). My chiropractor says that a majority of headaches originate from that region.
- Lay in a dark, quiet room for a little while with a cold, wet washcloth over your eyes.
- Drink water
- Or drink something with caffeine in it (pop, coffee, tea). When I was younger, that's what I was told to have when I got a headache (which led to a caffeine addiction, but that's a different story.....it won't happen to you from this time)
- Try to relax and de-stress your body

Get ice cold water and wet wash cloth, wring out well and lay on the back of your neck til it gets warm, and repeat. If you have crushed ice or an ice pack, wrap it in a washcloth or kitchen towel and leave it at the back of your neck. The coldness makes your veins shrink and your headache will go away. I used this technique all the time when I was pregnant cause I did not want to take medicine if I could avoid it.

Get off of the computer,get a cool washcloth and put it on your forhead and lay down in a dark, quiet room. Being on the computer is not going to help it any. Stay out of the light and away from noise.

Sometimes a headache is a sign of dehydration or even stress.Sounds crazy but 1.drink a couple large glasses of water. 2.Lay in a quiet room with the lights out and relax for a few minuets in combination with Dinos wet cloth technique .I Hope you feel better-

Why cant you take any medicine? Anyhow, get off the computer now, take a nap, then come back and do your homework. I get migraines and staying on the computer will not help and kind of headache!
