I kinda like the guy, but today he goes off on Detroit automakers for designing gas guzzlers, when the world knows that Obama himself drives a GMC Envoy.

Let the "do as I say, not as I do" crap start spewing from the politician's mouths - I've learned to see through it.

Well its ok for royalty to drive those big SUVs, heat their large outdoor swimming pools, air condition their large California mansions, and jet set around the world on private planes, but not you.

I'll have to take your word for it that he drives an Envoy. Cause honestly, I don't have a clue what any of the candidates drive. He lost my nod when I heard him speak at the first debate. It is clear that he is only comfortable when speaking from a written speach or in a one-on-one or informal interview. He was terribly disappointing. After Bush, America needs a statesman - an individual who can speak intelligently without having to have it written out for him. And sadly, it doesn't appear that Mr. Obama can do that.

As for his 'hypocricy', I would suggest that it would have been a ridiculous mistake on his part. To attack the auto industry in the US at this point is a disaster...but if he drives a gas guzzler himself...even worse.

I kinda like the vision that Barack Obama has for this nation. He is a man of vision, integrity and he appeals to both young and old. He also has the experience to lead this country and lead exceptionallly well. Detroit automakers do make some gas guzzlers and maybe that's the reason he's crying out because he owns one and he's beginning to feel the pinch in his pocket at the pump at over $3.00 a gallon. I certainly don't think this qualifies him as a hypocrite.

He has fought with vigilance against Crime, Disabled veterans rights, Violence against women and children and lowering taxes for working families. I don't see anything hypocritical about these serious life changing issues.

I would be more up in arms about America going to war over false pretenses and spending billions of America's tax payers dollars on a very unpopular war at this time in our country. Not to mention our brave son's and daughters who have been cast in the fiery furnace of affliction.

I hope you see through this!!!!

Yes he is
he says every elected official should vote on every issue
yet he didn't vote on a large % of issues

And for any politician to bash any American car company at this time is foolish. If their business continues to decline there will be millions of Americans out of work.

our auto makers are hurting mostly because of the gas industry, which has all but killed the SUV sells

and has any politician had the guts to bash them.
they are ruining this Country.

He supports the troops and wants more money for defense and is against the war. Where exactlly does he stand? He wants to help the poor and middle class. IF that is true why did he vote to give illegals SS benefits when they have never paid into the system?
