Leading Democrats like John Edwards want to pull Troops from Iraq and send them to Afganistan?
The American public didn't vote for that! We voted to have the troops brought home!
Some other Yahoo, said send the troops to Afganistan to fight Al Quaida there?
So, we can't keep the troops in Iraq to fight Al Quaida, but its OK to send them to Afganistan to fight Al Quaida?
And I thought Al Quaida didn't pose a threat to the US, whether they are from Iraq or Afganistan. If they aren't in the US, then they aren't a threat, right? This is what the Dems have been saying all along. Al Quaida isn't a threat. every democrat has said that.
Look out America, The Dems are duping you, and not doing what you elected them to do. Shame on them...

Al Qaeda attacked us on 9/11, allegedly. The organization has to be brought to justice. Worse yet, as a result of our invasion of Iraq, Al Qaeda’s influence has grown throughout the world. That situation has to be reversed.

Boy, do you like to twist what is being said by the Democrats just like most conservative Republicans do. The Dems aren't duping anyone. Iraq is basically a civil war. Osama and Al Quaida are regrouping and getting stronger every day in Afgahanistan and we are not doing a thing about it. All you conservatives can see is Iraq and Bush's war. If we took care of business in Afghanistan in the first place just probably we wouldn't be having all the trouble we're having in Iraq. If you can't seperate the two I, not anyone can help you. You just keep on following George Bush and Company while more and more young Americans get killed in Iraq and our treasury gets depleated with such a large amount going to the conservative war profiteers.

9-11 was the reason to invade Afghanistan and to capture Osama. Where is Osama. Where are the Taliban. Thjey are still happy and healty in Afghanistan. There were no Al Quaeda in Iraq until the USA destroyed the secular government, and replaced it with the Mahdi Army.
Go finish Afghanistan off, we need the CIA to control them poppy fields.

There I have to disagree with you. Redeploying a protion of the troops to Afghanistan--where they'd actually be fighting the terrorists--is necessary. We do have to deal with Osama and al-Qaida. Americans understand that--and will support LEGITIMATE efforts to do so.

At the same time, that won't do any good unless we have someone who knnows what the h~ll they're doing to run the Afghan campaign if its going to do any good. Which leaves Cheney/Bush out.

The abandonment of Democratic Party principles and values left those of us caring for the values and principles more than the name (Democrat)..... supporting Ralph Nader.

These new Democrats...these Clinton Democrats...are just diet republicans.....both parties now controlled by corporate cash and the people without political representation

If the people can only wake up and understand that America is NOT a two party system. Both Democrats and Republican parties have been totally hijacked by Israel! Wake up America, you are being duped by your "ally" in the Middle East with the Satanic Hexagram on their flag.

Actually, we didn't vote to bring the troops home at all, last time I checked, so I don't know what your saying there.
