You can see a chiropractor during pregnancy. I wish I had! I had chronic leg pain, so I was dealing with that, and ignored my long-term back problems. Well, I ended up with back labor and it felt like my back was literally going to break when I went into labor. There was nothing they could do about it, either, because my contractions were all over the map.

My baby also broke my tailbone coming out! So, if you know you have back problems, please take care of yourself and go to a chiropractor during your pregnancy and make sure you don't injure yourself. Pregnancy is so hard on anyone, and if you have a back problem already, it's not going to just disappear. But they have really good maternity back braces and supports now that you can order and you can charge your insurance if your doctor prescribes them.

I don't know if a bulging disks can affect the pregnancy, but I have back problems and I saw my chiropractor during my pregnancy. Their exam table even pushes out/in to accommodate the growing stomach. I had no problems.
