It most likely because you are having to chase around another child while you are pregnant. I slept non-stop with my first child but then I could lay down at 3 if I wanted and then lay down again at 8. Now, I have to take care of another human all day long and then I get to rest. You may have to ask your hubby for some sharing time and say hey " I need to go lay down, can you take care of MARY". I didnt really start to get tired with my second until about 36 weeks too.
Good Luck!

Well i must say sweetie, i am a couple of weeks behind you and because my babba's head is engaged 2/5(meaning head is 2 5ths into my pubic area) and when he turns his head or moving, the pain can be intense! I spoke to my midwife only the other day and to confirm my suspicions, she said the stabbing pain is due to this process of engagement, and other than this my baby boy is healthy and geting ready to meet me soon. Even though this is my second pregnancy, every twitch, movement, ache and so on has me looking in books, on the fone constantly to my midwife etc but my body knows what it wants and what it is doing. If the pain continues and is severe then just give your midwife a call, do not let anyone on this site scaremonger you into going to hospital, unless YOU feel you need to go. Trust yourself and your body, most of all your baby will surely let you know if something is wrong. Also as a likkle note, just watch for signs of bleeding, waters breaking, etc as that is definite labour and definitely hospital time!! Good luck mamma to be and i wish you all the best.xx

This is normal --- the next stage you will encounter during your pregnancy will be "nesting" or the need to clean and spruce things up a bit --- this is the best time to get the nursery in order, painted and so on {you don't paint though} put the crib and every thing up.
This will pass here in a week or so , but again it will return the last week of your pregnancy. Finding out it might be a natural defense against labor since you get so exhausted the very last week!
Do get as much as you need though, pretty soon you will be running on caffinated drinks to feed, change and spend your days! --

yes I remember this...I only had it with my first two pregnancies though. keep in mind that each pregnancy is different though. It has to do with being in the third trimester. It will soon pass. Hopefully a week or two before the baby comes =)
just continue to rest as much as you can and continue to take your vitamins and eat properly. Good luck and congrats.

I remember those days... yep, the early symptoms of pregnancy can come back again towards the end. Take this time to relax and make sure that you're keeping up with your water intake and your diet supplements. If you're lacking in water or in your vitams, that will not help you with the tiredness. Good luck! You're in the "home stretch" now!!

You're probably seeing your OB doc weekly by now. Let him know about your fatigue. Sounds normal to me though. It's probably just the extra weight of the baby causing the fatigue. And, ummm, sorry to say this, but 36 is past prime age to have a baby. Just being pregnant takes its toll on our bodies, especially after age 35. Sleep while you can, dear. After the baby comes, so will many sleepless nights, as you already know.

You never felt this way with your other pregnancy because you weren't keeping up with another little one then. That sounds pretty normal to me.

Enjoy that sleep while you can because once that baby is here you won't sleep at all. Go on sleep and just sleep all day till your baby's here.

I don't think looking for answers on Yahoo! is a good idea, but since you asked are you Anemic (low iron)? or have a history of low blood pressure? Have those conditions checked out.
