Besides contractions, of course! Are there any changes in the body as you get closer to delivery?

The baby will move down into the birth canal causing your stomach to drop. You can also lose your mucus plug. Nesting is a good sign. Lots of energy you will feel the need to get everything done. If you water breaks that is a sure sign.

Some of the signs of a delivery in the near future are: Small contractions, the baby's head has turned into position for delivery, the fetus may have become lower in you uterus. Other than that a loosening of a mucus plug and breaking of you water surrounding the baby make birth near. All should occur naturally.

i always got a lot of energy 2-3 days beforehand. I just wanted to get everything ready and wasn't tired at all. I got nauseous, and then all of a sudden really tired. I got a lot of discharge and cramping. I just felt different too.

Your contrations become closer together and more stonger. If you are still able to talk through them, they are not strong enough. But if you have a really tough time talking, then Id say baby is on its way!!
