I said I wanted to work in a language field and I'm now an ESL teacher but my best friend sure did not marry the man of her dreams!!!

In our year book we didn't have to put our dreams etc, we had to put a quote in.. that went under our name. Mine said "life's a garden...dig it" and yes, i am digging life hehe. (That quote cracks me up til today)

More than I ever knew! I said I wanted to be a special education teacher. I ended up in regular education. 2/3 of my classes have had IEP's for the last few years. Inclusion reigns.
I had no idea what I was talking about at the time.

I put something really vague...travel the world...which more of less I'm still doing.
But I did get to tell the person who "invented" my favorite quote:
"And they gave me sticks, and rocks, and stars, and all that I could hold."- Dar Williams. She was a little curious why I picked it, and I told her I went to Catholic School. And she responded with one of her famous "Oh's".

I told everyone I was going to be a cop and retire by age 42. I did it!
Yeah, right. I was so clueless in high school, I knew I wanted to be a cop, but that was about it. Did make it though.
