How, did they become bad? Do they have like magic and they suddenly appeared as bad words???

OK!! I am not saying that I use these words or anything, I am just wondering how they are considered bad? And dont tell me that I have soe growing up to do, mr yak guy...

did you see that episode of South Park where they mention the Curse words and the knights who have to come back through time to defend us all if they're said too many times?
seriously - it's having to do with religion and morality, and how society didn't want anybody uttering anything that was not God-like. Over time it wasn't such a huge deal, but the connotations are still there with us all to some degree.

It's not the actual words, but the meanings that they hold....throughout the years, they gained more meaning through the masses. So that is why they are considered bad.

i'm all about direct and effective communication. if i have to say "******" to get my point across, i'm doing it...

They evolve with usage. They are considered bad because of the disrespect and contempt they show the target.
If you think they are just words, I beg to differ. Would you like it if I called you a @$^%$& in front of your kids or family?

i wonder that too. but i don't use them still. they sound trashy nowadays. but why can't a flower be called a *****?? it doesn't sound bad. or why can 't pretty be described as shitty?
