Is this worth the price... E6700 vs Q6600?

These intel processors are about 200 bucks apart now, and I was wondering if anyone has one of these processors (preferrably if anyone has the quad core Q6600) please tell me what kind of resolutions and video quality your are getting for games. I'll join it with the GeForce 8800 GTS.

Game and video quality are much more dependent on the graphics card than on the processor. In Nvidia's PureVideo HD, processor utilization is LOW. A dual core Conroe is more than enough. Quadcore would be best for heavy apps like symmetric multiprocessing. Better just spend your extra bucks on a 8800GTX if you want the BEST gameplay.
