We have an insatiable media that doesn't really give a well rounded view of what's happening in the world today. If you took a look at what are the top stories for the year end, over a majority of it deals with entertainment or scandal (ex: Michael Jackson trial, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Anna Nicole Smith, etc.). Things like the economy get 10 second blurbs and then are never mentioned again.

I've heard news about this, plenty of it. The rate of growth is small and the Fed is expected to keep interest rates the same again for there meeting this month. Why should they brag about this? You want this to be the headline when we are in a war so it takes pressure off your party, get real!! When we have big issues the small ones fall from the forefront. If you don't understand that than you are a very unrealistic person.

Because the media is controlled by the Democrats...Good news for the country is bad news for them. Why do you think they want us out of Iraq?...So they don't have to surrender under their watch if a Dem wins the White House in '08.
