I am in love with a platonic friend and he knows it. We hang out even if he is seeing someone else. lately, i think he has been single again by the flirting and asking of questions about my dating life. thing is, i want to ask him out again. he may or may not be seeing someone else, but pretty sure he is single again. anyway, if i ask him out and he is seeing someone or says no, i think i want to end the friendship totally because it hurts not being with him. is it wrong and selfish for me to do this?

If he says no, don't end everything, relationships are only temporary. But go ahead and make your move.
