it`s ok to shower immediately after tanning, unless you`ve used a product that contains a bronzer, because u would need to allow a couple of hours for the bronzing agents to be properly absorbed into the skin...i`ve never noticed a difference in my color whether i shower immediately after or wait, because the tan is in your skin, it`s not a surface thing that`s going to wash off or anything...

Sure it is. I do not use the tanning beds but after I have sunbathed I will shower myself off.

You are getting the results during the actual tanning and showering will not decrease the tan.

This website has some good advise on tanning safely hope you find it useful.

Im not sure about sunbeds but most self- tans develop over a period of time, and its not best to shower until it develops. I think it would probably just fade the tan and make it more patchy! For the tan to work best its a good idea to shower, exfoliate and moisturise before appling the tan to make sure it stays on for the longest time possible and isnt patchy.

You can shower whenever you want if you are tanning in a regular tanning bed. If it's the spray tan, they will tell you how long to wait!

If you use sunless tan you should apply it after you shower. If you tan in abed, you should wait at least an hour because some soaps and body washes will affect your tan, depending on what kind of lotion you use(if it has a bronzer or not)The best kind of body wash to use would be a gel type.

If you are tanning in a bed or in the sun there should be no problem, but if you are using a self tanner, you should wait at least 8 hours to let it absorb really well.

yea it's ok. Nothing harmful will happen. Supposedly everytime you shower or bath you shed a layer of skin. But if you go tanning aften enough there's nothing to worry about.
