first expand the bracket
7a<3+7a+7
group like terms
7a<3+7+7a
add 3 and 7
7a<10+7a
subtract 7a from both sides
7a-7a<10+7a-7a
the 7a on both side cancels out

about the graph, draw a normal number line. Plot at 0 do not shade circle, then move 10 points to the left. Draw a line to connect both points
so we have 0<10
