i was 12, 3 months to my 13th birthday. i wasn't expecting it because i thought that i would get it at the same time as my mom (she was 15). that was pretty stupid of me huh? anyway, my mom didn't say much.

I was 12. Wasn't scared, was expecting it and my mother made a big deal about it. I was becoming a woman in some way. Quite embarrassing when she told that to my dad too.

I was 13 when I got my period. I was a bit nervous and scare. Know I wasn't expecting it. All I know I start feeling weird. I guess my mother was happy about it. Nothing to exciting; kinda like calm.

I was almost 15....I was not scared and I had been expecting it for a few years. I was just a late bloomer. My mom was cool and didn't make a big deal either. Have a good one, sweetie!

I was also 11. My best friend got hers first and she's 1/2 year younger than me. I was a real dork about it I was all giddy and happy. I told my mom that I was finally a woman.

I was 13.
I was TOTALLY not expecting it. It took me COMPLETELY by surprise. I just told my mom like " I need some pads" and she was like "You do?". So she sounded surprised. And yea my mom didn't make a big deal either. In fact...we never really had "the talk" with my mom. But THANK GOODNESS! LOL! I don't need it. hehe. But u always see that in movies. so yea.

It was the last day of elementry. I woke up and I wasn't scared, but in my mind I was thinking " F**K! My days of freedom and not worrying are over" I wasnt expecting it but I was really angry and I was paranoied all day at school. My mom was like "well, that sucks"....it does.
