That is an interesting quote. What if rainbows don't really mean that much to you? What if you like the rain a whole lot more?
I like rain, but sunshine is awesome.... Rainbows don't mean nothing to me, just a streak of Yellow to my eyes.
But in the non literal term of the quote I have to say I like it. It's just a nice way of saying to get to the good part you have to endure... Yeah... I like it...

It means you have 2 take the good and the bad 2 get results, deal with alittle rain 2 get a little sunshine and color.
Put up with some distractions in order 2 reap the rewards.

I don't mind the rain...but I guess if I had Dolly's hair or wigs

I love the rain, prefer it over sunlight in fact. And I don't really care about rainbows because the pot of gold is just another stupid fairy tale that turned out not to be true - kinda like happily ever after.

Omg. That is soo good!
Never thought of it that way but yes I TOTALLY agree with it. For ex. If you want to be rich then you have to work your butt of to get there. Right? Or...to get a good grade you must study for the test instead of going to the mall. And so on.
