I think the people that are making the biggest profits off of this war, are planting the bombs. I do not believe there are "insurgents" and I certainly don't believe Iran is supplying weapons.
It is most likely CIA, Israeli Mossad, or British agents planting the bombs. Anything to keep the troops there so that Bush/Cheney and their greedy minions can keep raking in the bucks, and hopefully one day take over the oil so they can charge $10.00 per gallon for it.

This is too funny. No car bombs didn't go off in Iraq under Saddam, nothing like that or anything remotely like that happend (with the exception of him killing the kurds with wmd's), because he ruled with an iron fist! If you did do it,only did it once! Car bombs go off now because they are now a free society and this is theonly way the isurgency has to inflict damage...true they are inflicting more damage on the Iraqi people but they don't care. One can not escape Saddam's rule without the possibility of retaliation or death, under the new government (elected by it's people) they can leave! And for you MORONS that still think we are there for oil, get off the kool-aide!

I think that the IRAQI proved finally that they are dam, more dam that we thought before the invasion...they are running out of cars but they never will run out of bombs as continuously killing each other. At least 500 Iraqis get killed every day....towards an average of 4-5 foreign soldiers. What the IRAQI leaders in both sides try to prove...is beyond my understanding...One thing for sure today in BAGHDAD you can't get a cheap funeral any more.

The Bush Administration has brought ruin both to Iraq AND the USA.
I agree with the previous poster. I think the bombings are inside jobs carried out by the people that are profitting most off of the "war on terror". Agents that work for the Bush Administration, Halliburton, the Pentagon, CIA, Mossad, etc.

Too many after but how many people "Disappeared" during his time as President!
I'm not by the way condoning the invasion and in the same sense am not saying he was a good leader for Iraq.
The UN needs to act to stop further hardship

I think an efficient military dictatorship doesn't need car bombs when it has tanks and attack helecopters, and that would-be refuges from Sadam's Iraq most likely ended up in mass graves.
Order /can/ be imposses with sufficiently ruthless aplication of force. Sadam did that, the Coalition has been unwilling to do so thus far.

Before, virtually nil. (Let's face it, any potential car bomber would probably have had a VERY rough time from Saddam's Mukhabarat). After, loads and loads. Unfortunately, U.S. forces are neither good on "Hearts and Minds", nor do they have the internal intelligence sources of the Mukhabarat, nor do they have an exit strategy, largely because George W. sent them in without one, because he didn't want one, as that would have interfered with his intention to seize Iraqi oil.

I think that Bush & Blair have created a terrible atrocity in Iraq.
They invaded only for oil & the world was against it.
They hanged a head of state, who knew how to run the country & have created an unsafe world.
I would hang both of them for crimes against humanity.

The main problem is that we are not treating Iraqis as equal to whites.
After WW2 any German (white ) found with a gun was hanged.
Give Iraqis the same equality.

If you want to compare present day iraq with several past conflicts put together in other countires, iraq is far ,far worse. No other conflict can match with the number of deaths of civillians, refugee's. and corruption, thats how bad iraq has become.life for iraqi's under saddam was far better.
