I have an interview for a toddler teacher position at a KinderCare Learning Center tomorrow. I just finished my freshman year of high school and i've never had a real interview before, so any sample questions and/or pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

What experience do you have with children? Do you like children? Do you know first aid? Tell us about a good experience you had while babysitting? Tell us about a bad experience you had while babysitting? What skills and behaviour are reasonable from a 4 year old and what skills are beyond their normal abilities? How would you stop two children who are fighting? What's your favorite children's book and why?

I'm sorry but I worked in a daycare as the Lead Young Toddler teacher and if you don't know how to answer these questions, then I don't think your right for the job. Your working with kids you should be creative and have your own answers to these questions. Your gonna have to be creative REPEATEDLY in the job. Whether it comes to disciplining, art projects, games, learning tools, lesson plans, and most of all keeping them stimulated and occupied.
