So talk to him about it...if you're already friends, and already having sex, making it a 'committed' situation isn't that much of a stretch...unless he just really likes being able to date others if he wants.

you have to step up to the plate. there's nothing better than being in a great relationship so if you think that's a possibility for you two then talk to him about it! otherwise you will spend the rest of your life wondering if he was the one. if he is afraid of commitment he will just tell you he wants to be friends and then leave it at that. if you two are really as good of friends as you think then you suggesting that you should date each other should not ruin the friendship. if it does, you obviously weren't as close as you thought and he probably wasn't worth any of your time. move on!

A guy will commit when the right girl comes along...maybe you aren't the right girl? He is acting "afraid" because in reality, he just doesn't want to be honest with you. In being honest and telling you that you have no chance of having a relationship with him, he knows you will probably leave...and there goes his bootie call. As far as he's concerned, where is the fun in that? As far as you are concerned, why put up with being a bootie call? Especially when you want to be more than that.

Stop messing around with him. What girls don't understand (at least until we get older ) is when a guy wants a girlfriend or wife, he wants someone who he believes will be faithful to him...that means you don't mess around with guys who are "just friends". If he wants to be with you, he should spend time with you, get to know you, date you. You have given him no reason to invest in you, you have given him "dividends" without any intitial "investment" on his part. Move on and don't make this mistake again. You never know when you are going to have a guy friend who could be something more.

Why would he want to commit when you are giving him what he wants with out commitment? I think you should let him know how you feel and if he does not want to commit, then maybe it's not meant to be. Or maybe he will commit, he may think you guys are already committed. Most guys think different them gals.
COMMUNICATE!

The biggest mistake that you made was to sleep with him first. You should have considered this before you made that move. If you want a relationship with him, then ask him.

i have no idea you've really got yourselfl into quite the spot. good luck. and next time I would suggest being REAL friends, then dating, then taking it to the next level. Not doing everything a**backwards.

If you've fooled around with that he'll make the first move. Otherwise you may think you're nothing but a little tramp

You should have been worrying about affecting your relationship when you slept with him. You have nothing to lose now go for it.
