Just north of San Antonio is a little town called Gruene. It has spring fed river is great for rafting and swimming. Also the oldest operating dance hall in Tx is located there. Great music and drinks. Part of the movie Michael was filmed there. You never know what country singer will show up for the fun of it.
In San Antonio is the Riverwalk and the Alamo. All great to do.
San Antonio is a fun town Enjoy!

When we were in San Antonio in 1995, we thoroughly enjoyed walking and shopping on the Riverwalk. Boat rides were popular. I've attached the link below. I believe it is still a popular site.
We also enjoyed visiting Galveston and Austen, Texas during the same trip.

Welllllllllllll, it depends on what ya'll like to do and the time span ya'll have available... but I do suggest ya'll go to :
*Six Flags Fiesta Texas... it's really fun (water park and all but it's a whole day thing if you're willing)!!
*Ya'll could have a night out at downtown and eat by the River Walk.
*Ya'll could also do the whole Malibu Grand Prix thingy.
They have mini-golfing, bumper boats, batting cages, game room, and go karts! =P It's really neat. =)
* Go the the San Marcos outlets if you feel like doing a little shopping. They have restaurants there as well.
It's like a 35-45 minute drive from downtown.
And trust me, that if you go, you're going to spend a GOOd portion of your day there! So keep track of time!
* AND if you happen to go to San Marcos, Austin is like 15-20 minutes away if you continue going North. You can visit the Capitol and the whole downtown area there. It's nice =)
Good luck! (and if you any more questions... let me know!)
