You best to see a chiropractor. They specialize in healing back pains.

If you are speaking of an amusement park ride, they do have warnings about what risks are involved when riding. If you had back problems prior to riding, you should not ride on any amusement park ride. Now if this is the first time you have had back problems, I would recommend staying away from those rides.
As far as your pain goes, go to your doctor. They will probably give you some pain reliever, and recommend that you get some physical therapy or see a chiropractor.
Once your back is better, I would do some exercises that focus on your core, both stomach and back. There are many exercises out there that will strengthen your core, and that you can do at home.
I hope your back gets better soon, and I hope your pain isn't too bad.

You didn't mention which ride you had gone.Anyways assuming it was a ride on any automobile the chances are you have strained your muscles in the lower back.Applying a muscle relaxant would provide the much needed relief as it relaxes the muscle.Make sure you don't massage the area as it might prove worse...It should be fine with some days rest and some painkillers if needed

wishing you a speedy recovery

Was it a ride at an amusement park or something?

Sometimes people get a slipped disk on those things.

Most likely it's nothing serious.

I would pop some advils and if it's not better in a week, tell the doctor what happened.

the doc will give you some great meds for the pain, but honestly forget the doctors, they'll only "treat" it. see a chiropractor (a well rated one) a chiropractor will attempt to cure it.

most likely ligement tears. I'd suggest warm showers and very light excersice (actually, not really exercise but make sure you try to use the muscles in your back normally). nothing to stressfull though.
