Jewish parents are stereotypically known to push their children hard to succeed (e.g. by enrolling them in private schools, forcing them to work hard, and so on). I'm looking for a good example of a famous Jew who attributes his/her success to being raised in an environment where he/she was pushed hard to succeed, but can't find a direct statement like this anywhere. Can anybody find one?

what about Albert Einstein?

If you look at his background he was constantly pushed to succeed in his early days by his parents.

And he was always proud of his Jewish background.
