Has anyone in your life ever said something mean to you?

You mean, in the last 6 hours? My ex-wife is bitter and angry even after almost three years.

I get it all the time. She has issues and doesn't get help. This time, she told my son things were better when I wasn't there for him.

My son loves me too much to ever let go, but what is the point of saying something stupid like that to an 8-year-old? I get real frustrated that this person can run her mouth like that without a penalty. I wish she could lose all custody for two years for the cr@p she starts.

My uncle got angry at me because I lied to him when I moved across the country.
He said I was going to be a single mother on welfare and do nothing with my life, etc etc etc and he figured that all out when I was like 12....

now at 20 I'm in a long term relationship, child free, working AND going to college.
Look who's not on welfare or a mother let alone a single mother!

Anyway it hurt a little just because that was someone I trusted and respected but oh well. I'm over it and we haven't spoked in over a year. Not a problem by me!

I've been called a s--t a few times and that kinda stings but I know I'm not one....

I think what I should really say is what the rudest thing I've said to someone else...
I was fighting with my boyfriend months ago and told him "I'm never having children with you- I don't want my children to be like you" and hung up on him...That was horrible....

Being mean goes two ways...

I've been called a s--- a lot but it was by basically one girl who told everyone that. umm the most annoying is when my dad says things like i deserve a better daughter or get out of the house and then doesn't listen to me! >:-o my teacher used to say i wasn't performing at grade level but i'm in the top school in my state now(hah take that shari) but i guess the best we can do is take what they say and revert it to something positive and set goals like improve on studying and such and the sweetest part is proving them wrong at the end! so i guess well these mean things are really just nice things in disguise! =]

Of course. I don't think that a person alive has lived their entire life without having someone say something awful to them. It just depends on who said it that makes it matter if it was painful to hear or not.

um yea hasn't every body. if your someone who hasn't you don't know how lucky you are. the most recent mean thing that i was told was last Friday my friend said that my picture from the 7th grade was ugly. (im in 9th grade now) it was mean.. the guys my friend i didn't think hed tell me i looked ugly. oh well i got over cause a few hours after that happened when i went out some guy told me that i was hot. so i felt better. yep

Yes, since i was in the first grade until now. Thay called me worthless, skinny, crybaby, dumb, ooohhhh!!! is such a long list but just imagine the worst insults ever.

OF COURSE- but I don't recall. I've moved on and I will never regret hearing those things. Every put down made me stronger. I am sure there were "ugly", "stupid'- the average! LOL ♥

My mother. "I hate you. I wish you were never born. I should give you up for adoption. You kids ruined my life. You kids drive me up a wall. You kids get on my nerves. Why don't you kids run away from home." Etc, Etc.

What a lovely woman she was.
