The information about the butterfly is kind of irrelevant. All you need to know is that, in the kingdom system of classification (which is not the best in my opinion, but alas there it is), goes: kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species. That's in order from broadest to most specific groups of organisms. So, just choose the one from that list that is nearest to species: family. Class, order and phylum all contain more species that share fewer and fewer characteristics than members of a family.
Here's the mnemonic I learned: Kings play chess on fine green sand. That should help you remember the order!

Because the levels are kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species, the members of the same family share more characteristics than the members of some of the upper levels. It's the most limited of the ones in your choices.
