am a die-hard redsox fan but, lets b honest to ourselves here.of course he will help the yankees win some games and make some noise in the AL east.i mean he is one of the best pitchers of all-time.he is roger clemens.he gave the yankees and their fans some hope even before hes gonna take the mound.he may help the yankees, but hes not gonna stop the redsox from winning either.
hes not gonna be the opposing pitcher in every game that the redsox play.i believe that the yankees getting roger clemens isnt a threat to the redsox and i think that they,ll continue playing great baseball and everything will be fine.he might have chose the yankees over the redsox but as julian taveras said"we dont need him and we will do just fine without him"
PS:i think he too knows that redsox fans dnt really like him anyways.and overall the redsox are still the best team becuz our team,s bullpen is not tired out and over used like the yankees,s.and i still believe that the redox,s starting pitching is better!!!!!!!!

The Yankees pitching staff has done very well as of late with out Clemens. His services will be appreciated due to the fact Hughes is hurt and Pavano is done this year.

Texas 10-1 ( Hughes had a no-hitter going )
Texas 4-3
Texas 5-2
Seattle 8-1 ( Wang had a perfect game going through 7 )
Seattle 5-0 ( The gave up 4 hits on Sunday )

Don't get it twisted. Clemens is not God's gift to baseball and he's not doing the Yankees a favor by playing nor his he their savior.

They've had pitching problems without him in the past and have done just fine.

He will make a difference but not enough of one. He is suspect coming into the season, he is 45, he is coming off of a average season in the National League where the line ups are weaker in the 7-9 spots. He will giive them some quality starts I am sure but the Yankees still have a huge hole that needs to be fixed and that is their bullpen, they have a terrible bullpen that has blown a number of games for them, not Mariano who gets a lot of the grief but other guys in relief have blown games for them as well. The Yankees will improve but as of right now they are still not going to win the division. Right now the Red Sox have a superior rotation and bullpen and pitching wins games.

He'll win a few and lose a few, but he will not make a difference. The Yankees are a TEAM, and no one person, even Roger the drama king, will make the difference as far as winning a championship is concerned. Roger himself said anything less than a World Series championship will be a FAILURE!! He'll try to explain that away in October when the Yankees don't even make the playoffs. I can't wait to hear him bumble himself with his self love and self adulation through that interview.

Chow!!

I think that Roger will improve the Yankee's. However, one man that play's every four days and isn't with the team all the time can't make an o.k. team into a World Series calibur team.

He will. It won't be a dramatic difference, but he'll win 5-10 games, have a 3.50-4.50 era, and really help the Yanks pitching staff.
But the Sox will win the AL East by 4 games.

No, because he is a 6 inning pitcher and the Yankees bullpen stinks. Let's say he keeps the Yankees in the game 3-0 and bah bah bah..the bullpen blows it.
