I have sorta some stubble and peach fuzz, not really anything substantial, but I've heard that when you cut your hair/shave it grows back in thicker and faster.

if you have the beginnings of facial hair and you want to shave, go ahead and shave. But, it's a myth that it makes hair grow in thicker and faster, if that were the case, bald men the world over would be no longer bald. They'd be shaving their heads trying to make hair grow. All that happens is the hairs are shaved off flat and feel stubbly when they grow back, so they are more noticeable, they don't grow any fast or thicker.

Dude just shave whenever you feel like starting. I know people who shaved before they had facial hair just to feel grown up...and about some of the comments below - razor bumps are usually from shaving in the wrong direction, always shave with the hair not against it. And the bald men comment has to do with DHT, which i dont think is in ur face but on the top of your head...you're asking the question so you obviously want to try it out so do it..even if its the only time for a while

It does grow back thicker, you also have to be careful of razor bumps. I dont shave my little peach fuzz, I dont want razor bumps.

Shave it when you want to. And hair doesn't grow back darker when you shave it. It's just a myth. So just do whatever's comfortable.

I am a female of coarse, whatever answer you go with just know that facial hair on men rocks ! Dont be one of those guys who shaves all the time, if women want a man with smooth skin on thier face then they should be lesbians and be with a woman!

If it doesn't look nasty I'd put it off as long as you can...you'll ahve a whole life of shaving once you start grwoing whiskers...I started at 18...didn't really need to, but in the marines they insisted evryone shave every day...haha
