it leaves a scar, but no bigger then the hole.. everyone is different and so is their healing process. it might look a little better if you use things to helps it not scar like the cream and neosporin.. i did my boyfriends a year ago and he had to take it out and there is a scar and its noticable. but its not like its huge... i would think there would be, but after a few years it would fade little by little. but i dont think it would actually go away. the hole will close up though.

Yes it does leave a scar, but it will not be big unless you play with it. The hole does close up too! As a matter of fact when I took out my piercing it closed up in a matter of hours and I had it in for 3 years.

i have my lip pierced...dunno, about the scar thing, because i don`t intend to take mine out!!! i`m sure it will leave a tiny one, but nothing more...

yes if you take it out it leaves a lil scar like it you took a pen and made a dot......but it depends and yeah it usually takes i long time to heal up completely

i got my lip pierced and took it out like 2 weeks later.. you can see a little bit where it was..a little dot.. but you have to be right up to my face...
