Have you been reading my mind? I feel the same a lot. But you know what? They do care. They are either just too busy or don't realize that their neglect hurts you the way it does. At least that is what I have found. Try making new friends. I know it's easier said than done, but it's always worth a shot!

Most of the time I just handle it and keep it all inside. I play guitar and video games and sometimes that helps. Today I am having a day like you and i don't think I can stand it anymore. e mail me I'll talk to you and maybe it will help
Take care

i have a tough time dealing with it but if it wasn't for my husband i don't know what i would do. Our "friends" only use us when they want something so I'm not too worried about having friends.

Its addicting to think about yourself.....to break the cycle you MUST focus on anything other than yourself: paint, write, take pictures, volunteer at the library, church or hospital. The self is a greedy thing and it will take you down ...if you let it.
