Will have zero effect on the outcome of the baseball season and will probably be just another $28Mil on the Yankees DL.

I do. He is so self loving and adulating that he makes me gag. I don't think he will make a difference at all. Poor Roger, he can then say he is a failure because he said himself today that if they don't win the World Series, that will be a failure. The big question I have always wanted to ask him is, "Roger, how many times a day do you kiss and hug yourself in the mirror?"

I don't know if he'll go on the DL, but I think the Yankees are reaching big time if they pay a 44 year old man $28 million to pitch from June to the end of the season. If the Yankees would just settle down, they would be fine. The Pirates on the otherhand, need some help fast.

I think he'll be 9-7 and have a 4.57 era and barely help his team. Its all over for the Yankees. If he would have went to the Red Sox he would have been better based on he fans there aren't so angry at the players right now. Plus the Red Sox have a great rotation already so the pressure would not all be on him.

I agree i have been watching the Yankee,s open there checkbook and sign players away from other teams since 1970. And considering how much more they spend then everyone else, i think the few championships they won in that time are not only tainted, but it shows stupidity from the team and the fans who think they are entitled to it lol there all a bunch of spoiled little rich girls. the bottomline is he went to new york to win the ring and i don't think they will. the one thing i don't get is if he really wanted to win the title why didn't he go back to boston? imagine clemens with schilling, beckett, and dice-k. that would be the best rotation in the game and with the sox's offense they would be the favorites to win at least the a.l. and probably the whole thing.

I don't know, if he wins one game for the Yankees, it'll be an improvement from their current position, ie under .500

I think Clemens is going to do what he always does, kick ***. He has been pitching all year, throwing bp for his sons minor league team everyday so his arm is still in good shape, he is acutally in better shape than he has been in years. He should have a very positive impact on the team and be a major role in them making the playoffs
