im watching a magic thing on tv and he made somebody dissapear!! where did they go?? how did he do it?

Lots of ways:
trap door under the stage
"fake" facade placed in front of the person in the dissapearing box
on TV, they would cut the camera, the guy gets out and goes offscreen, and the camera comes on again
disguise them as something else
there are lots of ways.

If a person goes in a box, the box will have a false back where the person hides. Usually, when you know the secret it's really quite simple.

Mirrors... that suck the person into them and refract the light so you can't see them hidden in them

they don't really disappear, they hide in a false compartment hidden on the set. its no big deal, the person who disappears is in on it.
