What is the difference between the brotherhood in Iraq and the Shriners in the USA?

I saw a report the other day where the Ameerican government considers the brotherhood, a muslim religious organisation to be a direct threat because of the fact that they are a religious organisztion that belives in male supremecy and they own many hospitals over there in Iraq and do charity work, My questions is isn't the Shriners about the same thing, aren't they a branch off of the Masons whom believe that White males are the supreme being, why is it then that the brotherhood, a muslim version of the same beliefs would be considered a terrorist organization and the Masons would not?

This is funny question but you are right the Shriners are a fraternal organization with roots tied to the Masons and cursades of the Holy City.....the difference...Shriners are not massacring people in this day and age or planning terrorist attacks on their own country and people....violence against the innocents is not a legitmate protest

Differences, The USSR in Afghanistan tried to break the back of the Islamic fundamentalists, defend women's rights, land reform, and secular government. The US is not doing anything of the sort in Iraq, and it's allying itself with the country's most reactionary elements, just as long as they do their bidding.The US also supported the Taliban in Afghanistan against the Socialist Government, and now the chickens have come home to roost.
