You need to understand their upbringing before you can pass judgement on the family.
Don't think you should mock them, afterall the queen is our national icon. It is because of our monarchy that we are a dignified and independent country.
Still, think Tony "****" Blair made a mistake joining the EU, very un-British.
Anyway, even if the family are German, i know where they're coming from (my famil originate from the same country, going back to Angl-Saxon times)

Good question. Seriously, are people afraid a little joke might be taken too seriously? Are they holding their tongues out of some respect for a bloodline or title, that really has no bearing on how big the ears are? Are people "well-trained" enough to respect the Royals and just not say anything if they have nothing good to say?
I say, it's time for a good QE crackdown. Not even William is off-limits.

Why on earth should they be mocking the royal family. If this is an american question, look closer to home..............and in particular that illiterate and brainless idiot who is destroying our world right now. Cant even get his dates right!

It is rude to mock people,no matter who they are.Those who mock people are base,boorish,ignorant,
mean-spirited,sad folk.
Now,who wants to be those things?Intelligent,
well-mannered,socially astute people do not.
