A few months ago, the Red Cross mobile unit came to my work.
I used to give about once every other year, but this last time was tough, the guy stabbed me, leaving a big bruise.
Should just be 'a little prick'.
It's good for guys to give blood if they can, it helps balance an overload of iron in our blood. Women get to lose it on a regular basis, but men don't.

Just before Christmas. I've been invited to go again just recently but have been advised it's best to wait until the doctor finds out what's been causing me to cough persistently since February.... You have to wait at least 16 weeks between donations.
