Hard to say at this point, but I,m confident he will go down as having been well above average.

He hasn't been near as bad as many claim, but I'm not sure he'll ever be seen as one of the best.
For that to happen, people would have to realize how serious the threat is from the Islamofascists, and recognize how much has been done to minimize the threat here at home. That would require more domestic attacks, but he'd most likely be blamed for not doing enough to stop them. Probably by those by the same people crying now that what he's doing to stop them is already unconstitutional.

Depends on if the next presidents want to continue the fight against terrorists. If the next presidents will pull back all offense against terrorists, Bush shall have failed. He will be the only president who actually took the fight to them, and the historians will only note that about Bush. If the fight is continued, then they may look at what he started. I, for one, believe we need to continue an offense against the jihadists of the world. We maybe criticized for waging war against them. They may call us war mongers, racists, and so on. At least there maybe less innocent blood shed throughout the world at the hands of raving lunatics.

He will be ranked among the 3 worst American Presidents. Only Hoover and Buchanan hold a candle to Dubya's incompetence.
He will be remembered as having "done a heckuva job." Just like Michael Brown.

I believe no, he will line up in the Carter grouping, but I firmly believe this congress will go down in history as the turning point in American Politics as the party and congress that ushered in the era of politics at all cost for power...
