A pulled muscle will heal on its own. Try and stay off of it as much as possible, but you don't have to confine yourself to bed either. Just don't go out and run any marathons!

I would try some heat for it and maybe wrap in a tensor bandage for when you have to be walking on it.... just give it a little TLC and it will heal all on its own. After a few days, try doing some light stretches to help it losen up a little.

You can try some heat, like a heat pad, but rest is best.
