The word fascism was coined by Mussolini inspired by a roman symbol of power. Nazi comes from the name of hitler's party (which included the term Nationalsozialismus).
They share the same base ideology of blind obedience under an authoritarian ruler (opposing democratic values), but nazi ideology is more extreme (it's considered a derivation from fascism).
If you search wikipedia you will find more thorough definitions for both terms, and how they relate to each other.
