Not all rivers have salt in them (i'm assuming you mean ocean levels of salt). Some rivers empty into large fresh water lakes, therefore don't have salt water, but many, many rivers empty into the ocean and tend to have at least some degree of salt water. However, no river is completely salt water, since rivers are created from runoff water from mountains or other high terrains (no salt there).

All rivers have some salt in them, as do all lakes, ponds, streams, etc. If you're wondering if there are any saltwater rivers like the ocean, the answer is not really. The intertidal areas of some rivers get saltier, but not all the time, and only in those areas that empty into the ocean.

Rio Cacheu and Rio Gabra in Guinea Bissau. Are both rather long "estuaries" that are technically salt water rivers, and are considered different from the country's "sweet water" rivers.

Yah and if you put some of the water in a bottle it will magically turn into salt and then you can cook with it. :)

I've heard the Penobscot in Maine does, as it has tides. It's more of a mix, actually. So much so, you don't need a fishing license to fish in it, as it's considered sea fishing.
