Even though Shneider is Out, we have Such a Veteran Defense, they will know that it's time to Step it up and Pick up the Slack. Yes i think the Wings Can Win the Stanley Cup Finals.

They play like like they did both Game 5's this year, disregarding injuries and it's theirs in the next 9 games garunteed.
When the Wings are on no one will stop them.
And no offense to Buffalo, i'm sure they are a great team, but i only believe they won the presidents trophy because they beat up alot of the east teams which are not as strong as the West.
As for the Ducks, finishing early has its perks and disadvantages, yes they have rest, but assuming the wings finish tonight, they will have momentum and first 2 home games which can be dangerous for a team that has sat out for a week and a half.
Senators fans, i'm sorry but i think they will choke once again.
Wings 4 Ducks 2
Sabres 4 Sens 1
Wings 4 Sabres 2
Wings Stanley Cup Champs!

Nope. This year's for the Sabres. The only team that Buffalo really has to worry about are the Sens. No team in the West could beat them. If u ask me, i think the Eastern Conference Final is gonna be better to watch than the Stanley Cup.

Without Schneider (broken wrist), they're essentially dead in the water due to an injury-plagued blue line. I think they'll be able to finish off the Sharks, but the Ducks are rested and waiting for this battered Red Wings team. I'd like to believe that my Wings will hoist the Holiest of Holies, but with half of the defense injured, I don't see it happening.

Hasek is playing well again. Pavel Datsyuk and Henrick Zetterberg are putting up points. Stong defensively. They win battles in the corners. They have savvy veterans and young talent. I do have Detroit in the Finals against the Sabres. Since I still believe that a strong D can shut down an offensive team, I do believe the Wings have an excellent chance to win.

If they keep playing like the way they have been so far, they are going to win the cup..we're currently playing so well against a team that has so much similarity with Anaheim. If the Wings eliminate the Sharks tonight, there's a good chance that the Wings be successful against the Ducks as well. Then, we'll go to the Finals and beat the east.

Detroit has a damn good chance of winning it. Pavel is starting to produce, hasek will let one in and completly shut down the rest of the game. Quincey has been VERY impressive for a rookie who had played most of his NHL games in the Playoffs. Lebda should be back soon. ( as early as game 1 vs the ducks) Lidstrom is just a plain beast. Chellie is one of the best defensive defense men in the league. Lilja is doing great and Kronwall should be back by the Finals. Samuellson did a great job filling in for Schnieder at the point. i see Detroit bringing the cup home where it belongs.

Whoever began this rumor desires their weblog removed from the internet. regrettably, the Wings did no longer permit Pittsburgh win the Cup. it truly is kinda no longer hassle-free to play against a set enjoying that properly whilst certainly one of your ideal gamers comes to a decision to no longer take place (Hossa).

i believe the way they are playing right now that they have a very good chance cuz if they end the series tonight then its ducks vs. wings. season series is 3-1 in favor of detroit. the wings have their number and as far as buffalo or ottawa, i believe the wings have the postseason experience over buffalo but ottawa might be a tougher opponent. Burnside on ESPN.com said the redwings are RELENTLESS!!! that could be the difference maker

No. Assuming they get past San Jose, they will not be able to beat the Ducks. Anaheim has too many good skaters/shooters and will overwelm Detroit's defense, particulary now that Schneider is out.
