Is Munchlax a Diamond exclusive?

I've been trying to find a Munchlax in Pearl but I have had no success, especiall since the pokédex says 'area unknown'. Is Muchlax a Diamond exclusive or is it availible in Pearl.

Munchlax is difficult to come across. You need to spread honey on a tree and rarely one will come there and you can catch it. The easiest way to obtain a munchlax would be to breed a snorlax. But it can be found in Pearl as well as in Diamond.
