Because they are people motivated out of hate and fear who do not think out issues for their selves. I was behind Bush in Afghanistan....and at first in Iraq in till the facts came out and I found out we had been lied to, and manipulated to get us to war with a soveirn country.
seriously if these people investigates the facts they would be outraged, but they are idiot sheep who blindly follow what talking heads like Rush tell them. It's a damn shame.

Because he's so popular.
A Newsweek poll released this weekend found only 28 percent approving of how Bush is handling this job, his worst-ever rating from that survey and its lowest since President Carter got the same dismal figure in 1979.

Because party loyalty is important...I defend the acts of Pelosi and Clinton because I am a loyal Democrat who believes that my party has the best interest of the nation in mind. Bush supporters are cut from the same ilk. Diane Fienstien is said to be on the greatest profiteers from the war in Iraq, yet most Democrats are willing to ignore it in order to keep the senate.

I had two of my buddies who are currently in the AF over the other night. They are hardcore Republicans and still will not admit that Bush has done *anything* wrong.
Blind loyalty keeps people convinced no wrongdoing has occured.
My 2 friends are in every other way, normal, middle of the road kind of people. But they will not, for one second, say Bush has not done a good job. It boggles my mind, but it's within their rights to be wrong! (heh)

It's cognitive dissonance; they know they were fooled twice by voting him in again, and just to justify in their brains that they did the right thing, they have to keep telling themselves they support him. If they acknowledge that the administration has been as reckless and negligent with the constitution as they have been, it will make them partially accountable.
Either that, or they can be easily fooled and believe what anyone tells them without looking for information themselves.
It's called the Internet people! Use it! And don't go for the biased websites, look up the government's documents yourselves! Watch C-SPAN for goodness sakes!

because they belive in a man who is running our country, instead of picking up the opinions the news and media throws to them and repating them. Maybe you only hear one side of the story, or a completely false story for that matter. So unless you are the bush administration, dont act like you know whats going on. You have your opinion that its lies and deciet, well i have mine, so maybe we should both just keep it to ourselves, or maybe we could just accept it and not fight such strong tension between parties. I dont know, i thouhgt i was growing up in the land of the free, the UNITED states of america, This country is anything but united.

You mean like this?
"In the next century, the community of nations may see more and more the very kind of threat Iraq poses now -- a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction ready to use them or provide them to terrorists, drug traffickers or organized criminals who travel the world among us unnoticed.
If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow by the knowledge that they can act with impunity, even in the face of a clear message from the United Nations Security Council and clear evidence of a weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton

Why would you rely on a dangerous liar? Because you cover your eyes, or because fear makes you feel you don't have a choice.
Just look at the first answer: I have not been lied to, only liberals feel that way. He doesn't want to be one of those liberals, so he ignores the fact that Bush contradicts himself constantly and on tape.
Others say they know he has his flaws, but he is our only hope against the Terrorists, or the Liberal Taxes, or Both.

And what administration doesn't have this in it?! Why can't I defend my president without getting ripped apart for it, after all don't I have that freedom? Nothing you people say will change my mind so why are you wasting your time and energy on a useless cause. I say live, and let live. Move on, find a hobby, something.

change the name from Bush to Clinton and the question is just as thought provoking.
And no, Clinton's lie about a BJ was not his only nor even remotely close to his worst lie.
