Tiger barbs! Well Tiger barbs, I had four of them months ago, and I got rid of mine just for that reason. They kept pestering my Gourami and that Gourami was much bigger then they were. The Tigers are very wonderful cleaners and hardy to have for cycling, however, it is thier nature to nip. I think they only will do it out of thier nature and size won't matter on the other fish.

YES! Tiger barbs do not do well except by themselves with other tiger barbs. They will nip a fish to death. I have seen a small school of barbs kill a full grown cichlid. I would remove the catfish before there is a death. Good luck!

Yep, Tiger barbs are great tank bullies and don't hold back on the fin nipping. They generally give barbs a bad name.

definite, they could pass jointly they are merely colors (type of like Guppies), they should be in communities of a minimum of 5-6 and +, yet in case you haven't got the room on your tank, 5 should be the max. How vast is your tank? What different fish do you've? in case you intend on getting different fish make effective they have compatibility with tiger barbs, because tiger barbs are undesirable fin nippers, and could harm your different fish. good success
