The Steelers of the 1970's. Four super bowls in 6 yrs., with the same players.
That '72 dolphin team played the steelers in the play-offs that year and only won 21 to 17. The Steelers got a lot better after 1972!

it would have to be the 1972 Miami Dolphins. The team finished with a 14-0 regular season record and went on to win the Super Bowl. They are the only team to finish a season in NFL history without losing a game. 17-0 (season and playoffs)

Cleveland Browns of Otto Graham. They won the four AAFC championships. Then merged with the NFL and won the NFL championship. If it weren't for the Detroit dynasty they'd have won ten straight championships. (As it was they were 3 of 6 in NFL championships and 4-0 in AAFC championships.)

If you are going by one season, its the 72 Dolphins...If you are going by team history, its the Green Bay Packers...The Super Bowl Trophy is the Lombardi Trophy for a reason...not the Shula Trophy...

The 1950's Cleveland Browns went to 6 straight Championships (Super Bowls), The Browns are the best overall team in history!

It depends, if you are talking a franchise it would have to be the Patriots. 3 rings in 4 years and that was in the salary cap/free agency era. If you are talking single season it's hard not to point out the 72 Dolphins, but they had a shorter season then. I like the 86 Giants, absolute domination

Although I am a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan I would have to agree that the undefeated season of the Miami Dolphins is pretty amazing and would make them the best team of our era.
