Where did they hide?

I'm looking at footage from the tornado in Kansas Friday. It looks like the town was wiped out. No buildings intact. Where did the survivors ride out the storm?

Most houses in Kansas come complete with either a basement or a tornado shelter. Sorta goes with the territory.
