a total disregard to human life no matter where you live is quite disturbing.

I would agree with a lot of these answers in that society as a whole has changed to the point people are wrapped up in their own little world to care.
It happens all the time where a complete lack of human compassion is shown and in this case it is just a bad a case as you are likely to read about.
I think that the daughter saying people maybe did not stop as they were confused I think that his her putting a brave face on it and even she must have found peoples lack of compassion for another human being astounding.

Wow...I agree...it just goes to show you that people are too concerned with their own selfish need and life to stop and help someone who just got in an ACCIDENT! There is no way all 30 of those cars that went by without helping had something more 'important' to do...sad
