I like to be able to play any DVD from any Region on my Laptop DVD. Currently I am resticted to Region2 , but I have DVD's from Region1, which I can not play.
Does Anyone know with certainty which software will enable me to play all Regions on my Matchita DVD-RAM UJ 8225

also vlc player is good.

You can get DVD Region Killer from the following url. It's a freeware programme, but who knows for how much longer?
I'm not sure, but you may need to use a third party DVD player, such as Cyberlink Power DVD, for it to work.
The suggestion from the first url is that if DVD Region Killer doesn't work, you should download DVD Region+CSS Free and DVDIdle. This, however, isn't a free programme. It's shareware.

try anydvd from slysoft.com...you can try for 21 day's..if it works well you can either crack it or buy it...i recommend that you buy it ,because then you get the automatic updates that come with it...
