The Democrats need their own flag deary because their flag is certainly not,red, white, and blue. They only BURN those kind.

We already have a flag. It's old glory. Not all liberal democrats burn flags. You have got to stop makeing generalizations. You are the un-patriotic one bashing your fellow countrymen like that. I personnaly think it is wrong to burn the flag and I'm a born and bred liberal. Oh yeah by the way 1. if it werent for liberals we wouldnt have this great country and certaintly no flag to burn. 2. if it werent for liberals you wold be complaining about people burning the confederate flag (i have no problem doing that). Also to the guy that said our flag should have a swastika on it News Flash: the people that do that say there're on your side.

No. The intent of flag-burning is to make a political statement. Probably the best interpretation would be something along the lines of "even though the other party is currently in power, they do not own the patriotic symbols of the nation, and it is not unpatriotic to oppose them, even though they try to paint any opposition in that light."
I don't think it works out that way, though, I think it rather falls into the trap, making the flag-burners look like they hate what the flag stands for, rather than hating the way thier political rivals have co-opted the symbol.

Do you honestly think that all liberals hate this country? The vast majority don't. If you did your research, you'd find that liberals are the real patriots. Just because we don't support spending billions on a stupid, mishandled, pointless war does not mean we hate America. Dissidence is how the U.S. was founded.
And as for burning flags, what about those ultra-conservative skinheads who burn American flags? Maybe they want a new flag too?

No. They want leadership that doesn't make them ashamed to admit that they are Americans and burning a symbol of that government is a most desperate act of trying to get those in power to listen.
It may be beyond your comprehension but those that burn a flag may very well love this country more than those sheep who quietly go along with whatever the government does.

Why would they want a new flag. Democrats respect the flag. Neocons want one with a big atomic blast on it. Ooooh that would be so sweet for them. Cons were burning a flag with red, white, and blue on it but now France is good and so they don't burn that one any more.

You are irrational. Most of the flags I have seen were draped over coffins of those killed in Action! And I have never burned a flag in my life, except to destroy it when it is old. That's how flags are properly disposed of!
