it's not a thing it's just a label on life and how it progresses.

you remember something that happened, that's cool, but it's not happening now. and weather it will or not in the future is your choice.

Good observation. I think we are obsessed with time because it seems like there is never enough time to do the things we need or want to do. There are days that seem to fly by and some that seem to crawl but we remained obsessed with time, the past, the future and I don't think we spend enough time on the now, the present. Enjoying the time we have right now should be more important on our list. We never know what the future holds or how much time we have left to enjoy our lives.

I love your words really.

You are the one who live now.

Why are people so obsessed with time?

Reasons:
1. The Dying Man appreciate all the rest of the remaining time.
2. The Living Man doesnt live now, but keep bringing the past to now and he should not bring the future now. As we cannt predict the future, we cannt return to the past, only what we can do is to do NOW!!!

Humanity is so obsessed with time because it is all we have in life. No matter how rich, poor, happy sad, healthy, or sick and dieing. You are only guaranteed one thing in life, time will pass and you will die. Most people try to treat every minute like it's something special, even though in the end, There will be no more minutes, and nothing special.

Time is our home, we live here.We must use it wisely. Keep it clean and share it with those who have little of theirs left.
Time is a gift we have been given like a talent or a friend.
There are moments in time that we all wish we had back and could relive and there are moments in time that we would like to forget entirely. We do not obsess about time we drift in space without a compass. Time gives us the opportunity to plan.

I agree. What's the point of everything if it happened already? There isn't a point, it's mentally documented but should of been forgotten since it wasn't even important.

I think it's because it is one of the few things we have no control over and everyone is scared/interested/obsessed by the unknown.

I COMPLETELY AGREE!!

I actually stopped wearing a watch about 7 years ago, and I'll never put one on again..

I'm interested also, with this 'concept' of time.

Check out my post.

because we all wonder what happens when ours is up, or don't care and want to use what we've got in ways that justify our existence
