It's completely natural and some start as young as 11, statisttically between 97% of boys have masturbated between the ages of 11 and 14 - this is during the beggining and peak of puberty where they are developing sexually very quickly and its something new and so 'it feels good' - and therefore they do it, especially at a time when their hormones are most active - that is not to say they do it any less as adults - plus why do you think babies are always playing with it - there are so many more receptors down there and they are much more sensitive than any all over the body and so a baby is not stupid and knows its more fun to play with their 'peter' then with their toes - If they DO NOT masturbate then I would be very very worried...that would be a clear indication that something is not right - so its actually a good sign and an indication of healthy sexual development - and it feels good damn it! lol

Like most others here, just happened upon it myself when I was quite young. (8 or 9?) Of course, since then, I've learned it can be much more fun an activity when shared with others !

I guess i was around 12 and had real close friend who was my age but well endowed for his age. He was my mentor and having camped out one night we decided it was time for me masturbate for the first time. Like others thought something had gone wrong when that first load came out. When I was about 8 or 9 I used to stay the night at a friends house,, and one night we were in bed and he was doin it,, and I had to ask what he was doing, and so he told me his dad taught him about it, and well I think that same year we both learned about the giving and recieving of oral sex with each other
