if you want new, which is good as you get restore disks etc with it, emachines have been kind to me over the years. I bought one five years ago and got so many rebates that it ended up costing around 298.00 and I got checks in the mail. they are also into instant rebates so right off I got a 400.00 discount. I get mine at best buy, but they are available in many locations.
fyi: in my house there are 4 pc's and one laptop.

Go to any computer shop and tell the assistant about your requirements & expectations. Normally, they will have a list of brands and prices so you can select from there. Each brand has their ups & downs so you just choose what programs you will be using most.

Hi. Some of the older used computers are almost free. Just look around. Otherwise look at Dell, HP, and eMachines, for example.

Either custom building them your self or going to a custom builder, or go to a person like myself.
If you are looking to purchase a computer, than email me and we can configure a system just for you, and My prices are guarenteed to be cheaper than anyone else.
