After I got married my fingers became thicker and so my wedding ring could no longer fit. My wife took it and saved it somewhere. I have neither seen that ring nor heard of it for many many years.

Anyway, maybe the wedding ring in the soul is ever more important and more precious than any golden ring whatever on the finger.

Just my wedding band. I take off my engagement ring before I go to sleep.

I never take my wedding ring off with the exception of when it is being serviced. (prongs checked/fixed or cleaned). It is the symbol of my love with my husband and I feel it should never be removed. As for people that work around machinery and are required by their employer to remove all jewelry, that of course should be another exception.

Yes, but I have gotten up in the morning with scratches on my face. Not sure if that's my ring or some psycho attacking me in the middle of the night.

I wore it the day of the wedding and took it off of my finger ever since. It's in the safe. I am fussy about wearing any jewelry! Sorry!

Does a ring pop count?

I used to but I kept scratching up our head board and such. So now I remove it just before bed and leave it on my bedside table and place back on my finger before my feet even hit the floor in the morning.

Absolutely! It's what you're supposed to do! NEVER take it off unless you have a situation that would cause you harm if it got caught (machinery job) or if it could get lost (working with slippery substances).
