1) Yes, I have seen an increase (from the books that I read anyway) on weak females. 2) No. My only aim right now is to get a book finish. Then I can go back and edit it to death. 3) No but it's something that I will like to do in the future. 4) No. I become very engaged in the book, now and then if it says something that relates to my life, I drift off and think about that time, lol. 5) Because I stare at a computer screen everyday. I don't want to have to do it even more whilst reading. 6) Others should judge the characters and then my writing. I'm not sure what you mean by this questions, it's worded funny.....*Rubs eyes* 7) Nah. Well apart from one book which had a guy shirtless on it and my dad gave me dody looks. 8) No. I like both equally. When I read it usually inspires my next story. 9) I only like certain genres, fantasy romance, gothic and teen fiction. 10) Yes, definitely. Through what they make certain characters say. I'm not too sure, I just feel like it does influence them. It influences me when I am trying to be funny in some parts of my story. 11) First present tense. 12) Nope. I'm always moving on, searching for new books, hehe.

I don't understand your question. Do you want to write a short story introducing the novel or do you want to find a short story already written that has some of the same themes as the novel?

please be more clear in your question.
